Halal travel

Halal travel is a way in which Muslims travel without compromising their faith-based needs. Muslim-friendly holidays allow Muslims to enjoy their travel experience while practicing their religion.

Examples of halal travel include staying at hotels that cater to Muslims by being alcohol-free, offering halal food, women-only pool access, and more.

Halal travel is not only for Muslims. It can be enjoyed by any traveler looking to experience and immerse themselves in Islamic traditions.

Halal hotels worldwide offer a range of services and amenities tailored to Muslim travellers, but there is no one-size-fits-all definition.

At Rooh Travel, we select properties that feature at least one or more Muslim-friendly amenities, such as halal food, prayer facilities, privacy-focused accommodations, or alcohol-free environments. This ensures a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for our travellers.

Not at all! Many non-Muslim countries offer halal-friendly experiences. For example, Taiwan, a predominantly Buddhist and Taoist country, is one of the most Muslim-friendly travel destinations.

Yes, a small deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit helps us begin planning and reserving your personalised trip. The deposit amount will be outlined in your trip details.

The remaining balance is typically due 50 – 60 days before your trip departure date, depending on the destination and travel arrangements. We’ll send you a reminder to ensure everything is set in plenty of time for your travel.

We accept a variety of payment methods, including credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and PayPal. Your Halal Travel Designer will guide you through the payment process to make it as smooth as possible.

Travel support

While we don’t process visas directly, we can guide you through the visa application process (if required) and provide advice on what documents you’ll need. We also recommend travel insurance for your peace of mind, and we’ll help point you in the direction of reliable providers.

If you encounter an emergency during your trip, please contact our 24/7 support team immediately. We are always available to assist with any urgent issues, whether it’s a medical emergency, flight changes, or anything else.

You’ll receive all the contact details for our local partners and 24/7 support team before your trip. Whether you need help with your accommodation, activities, or anything else, we’re always just a phone call or message away to ensure your trip goes smoothly.

Changes & cancellations

We understand that plans can change, so we offer a flexible cancellation policy which depends on the trip booked. We always recommend the most convenient option for you.

If you need to cancel your trip, the amount refundable depends on how far in advance you notify us and the specific terms of your bookings. We’ll always work with you to find the best solution based on your situation.

Yes, we can accommodate changes to your itinerary after booking, depending on availability and timing. Just reach out to your Halal Travel Designer as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to make the adjustments.

While the deposit is non-refundable, it is transferrable. If you need to cancel your trip, as long as it’s before the cancellation period, you can apply the deposit to a future booking with us. This gives you flexibility to reschedule your travels without losing your initial payment.
